Heart Essence of Khandros (Yethri Thasel)

only on Zoom
with Choekhortshang Rinpoche
Amongst the different Dzogchen lineages in Bon tradition, there is one that sometimes is less known but not less important such as Yethri Thasel or the Essence of The Khandro, a secret lineage and terma that comes from khandros or realized female practitioners of Dzogchen.
Yetri Thasel is one of the main cycles of Bonpo Dzogchen and Nyen gyud (Oral Tradition), which Lungbon Lhanyen (11th century Terton) received from master Tsewang Rigdzin. Tsewang Rigzin is considered the main deity of long life in Yungdrung Bon.
Choekhortshang Rinpoche during this weekend will give the dzogchen instructions connected to all the khandros (or dakinis) in the female dzogchen lienage of Yethri Thasel and will give definition of khandro and explain what is about, and finally will also bestow teachings and explanations on the meaning of the secret mudras and their metaphors connected to these khandros.

This teaching on the heart essence of khandros is mainly based on the teachings of Yetri Thasel’s Ma gyud (female lineage) and Dzogchen (terma) lineage.
The transmission of this lineage extends from Bonku Kuntu Zangpo to the current lineage holders: Yongdzin Rinpoche, Khenpo Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche, etc. There were 22 women in this lineage who were meditation masters. They received the teachings, practiced and then transmitted them. One of the main holders of this lineage was Choza Bonmo, an extraordinary woman who lived in Tibet in the 8th century and played a key role in preserving Yungdrung Bon during the Second Persecution of Bon in Tibet. Choza Bonmo received dzogchen teachings from many masters, such as Lishu Tagring, Drenpa Namkha. She practiced for many years to fully realize the nature of her mind and finally achieved the rainbow body of the great transference.

Tummo: The Bliss of Inner Fire (part I): Tsa rLung and Tongra

with Choekhortshang Rinpoche
ONLY in-person at the Hermitage of Ronzano in Bologna (Italy)
NO Zoom

In this four days retreat at the Hermitage of Ronzano in Bologna (Italy), Choekhortshang Rinpoche will bestow the preliminaries for the Tummo practice: Nine breathings of purification, Tsa rLung and Meditations on Dzog ku (Sambhogakaya), Trul ku (Nirmanakaya) and Bon ku (Dharmakaya) according to the Mother Tantra (Ma Gyu). We will experience the preparation retreat to achieve the basic level for the next two parts of Tummo practice in 2026 and 2027.

Tummo practice is a very powerful, secret and ancient yogic practice which will allow you to use the inner heat to burn our karmic traces, our illness, our emotional afflictions and increase our body and mental well-being, our mental clarity, and our open-heartendness.
Rinpoche will teach us how to use breath and movements of our body to increase the quality of our lives through this yogic and tantric tradition from Yungdrung Bon.
